Halle Berry is determined to stay visible and vibrant as she enters her 60s. The Academy Award winner recently appeared on the cover of The Cut magazine, where she confidently embraced daring fashion choices and rejected the idea of being limited by her age.
In the photos, Berry wore a sheer, flowing robe with a feathered wrap, reflecting the light and free spirit she feels in her life right now.
Turning 59, she told the magazine she’s committed to refusing to be ignored or sidelined by an industry that often overlooks older women. She intends to be more outspoken and assertive than ever before, defying expectations and celebrating her age.
A significant focus for Halle Berry right now is her work to reduce the shame and misunderstanding around women’s health, which she calls her “menopause mission.” She feels passionately about these issues and sees it as a defining purpose for this part of her life.
Berry also spoke about her relationship with musician Van Hunt, calling it the best she’s ever had. They’ve been together for almost six years and are engaged, but they’re in no hurry to get married, as they feel their love doesn’t need a wedding to be real or meaningful.
