Amanda Seyfried Gets Candid About Botox and Her Favorite Spot

Amanda Seyfried recently shared details about her skincare and beauty choices, explaining how she maintains her look without resorting to plastic surgery.

In a recent interview with Who What Wore, published on December 10th, the 40-year-old actress revealed her go-to dermatologist and the treatments she loves.

Amanda Seyfried shared that her dermatologist has a long-term plan for her: consistently administering Botox to the same area of her forehead for the rest of her life.

She shared that she uses CBD oil to reduce skin redness, keep her skin hydrated, and improve its overall health. She also gets ILP laser treatments to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and sun damage. Importantly, she currently has no plans for surgery.

She shared that while getting older presents challenges, she feels well-prepared because she prioritized self-reflection and mental wellness throughout her thirties. This included extensive couples and individual therapy, as well as deep conversations with psychologists and friends in the field, giving her a strong understanding of herself. She acknowledges it’s not a perfect solution, but it’s been incredibly helpful.

I remember watching an interview with Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney for Allure’s YouTube channel. They were playing this game called “Truth Serum,” and Amanda started talking about getting cosmetic procedures. It was interesting because Sydney admitted she’s never had anything done and is actually really afraid of needles!

Seyfried reassured her that it would become more helpful with age, stating, “It really works once you get older, I’m telling you.” She also jokingly advised Sweeney that when she eventually tried it, she should call her for a small amount of Ativan, predicting she’d love it, but adding that Sweeney wasn’t ready for it yet.

The actress stressed that getting cosmetic injectables done well requires skill. She explained that many people overdo it, getting injections in too many areas. She also noted that Sydney Sweeney might benefit from minor treatments to address a slight unevenness in her eyes, which resulted from a wakeboarding injury.

Amanda Seyfried’s willingness to talk about her experiences shows a healthy perspective on beauty – one that includes both cosmetic procedures and taking care of her overall well-being and mental health.
