Kate Winslet expressed her concern that young actors are overly focused on achieving a flawless image for social media, particularly Instagram. She finds it deeply upsetting and worries about the negative impact this obsession with appearance can have on their mental and physical health. She described the situation as ‘devastating,’ explaining that when self-worth is tied to looks, it’s frightening, and the lack of concern for well-being is terrifying. Winslet feels this issue is even more prevalent and problematic now than it used to be, calling it ‘absolute chaos.’
