
New casting rumors for Amazon’s God of War TV series suggest the show has found its Baldur and Thor.
According to a post by Daniel Richtman on Patreon, Max Parker is a potential candidate to play Baldur, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson is being considered for the role of Thor.

Parker is recognized for his work in the films Boots and Vampire Academy. Ólafsson has been in the TV series Severance, The Deep, The Minister, and Lady Dynamite.

Director and Release Info
Frederick E.O. Toye, known for his work on Shōgun and The Boys, will direct the first two episodes. Ronald D. Moore, the creator of Battlestar Galactica, is overseeing the show as showrunner.
Currently, the show is being prepared for filming in Vancouver, and the actors to play Kratos and his son haven’t been chosen yet.
Prime Video has ordered two seasons of the God of War series. The show is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios, PlayStation Productions, and Tall Ship Productions.
The game centers on Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they travel through fantastical worlds to honor the last request of Kratos’s wife and Atreus’s mother, Faye.
