Hulu will continue the story of The Handmaid’s Tale with a new series called The Testaments, debuting in April.
Ann Dowd is back as Aunt Lydia, and Chase Infiniti joins the cast as Agnes. Lucy Halliday plays Daisy, Rowan Blanchard is Shunammite, and Mattea Conforti is Becka. The series also features Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, and Birva Pandya. New images from the show were first shown at CCXP25 in Brazil.

I just finished watching The Testaments, and it’s a fascinating look at life in Gilead, but through the eyes of a new generation of women. It’s based on Margaret Atwood’s incredible novel, and really digs into what it’s like growing up under that regime.
These young women have grown up knowing only a harsh and controlling religious society. Now, facing forced marriages and lives of obligation, they must seek help from friends, both familiar and unexpected, as they struggle for independence and a brighter future.
Bruce Miller adapted the book series for television and also oversees the show as its showrunner and executive producer.
The series is being produced by a team including Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Steve Stark, Shana Stein, Maya Goldsmith, John Weber, Sheila Hockin, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, and Mike Barker. Barker will direct the first three episodes, and MGM Television is the production company behind the show.
