HBO has unveiled a new trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which will debut on HBO and Max on January 18th.
The video shows Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg, traveling across Westeros many years before the story of Game of Thrones begins.
This short video introduces the concept of a story focused on characters and their experiences, rather than royalty or power struggles. You can watch it below.

Cast and Story
The show features Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg. It’s set a hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones, in a time when the Targaryen family still rules, but dragons are no longer around.
The show stars Finn Bennett, Berto Colón, Tanya Reynolds, Sam Spruell, and Fionn O’Shea, who play important roles in both the Ashford tournament and the growing political conflict happening in the background.

Season 2 Officially Moving Forward
HBO has announced that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will return for a second season, demonstrating their belief in the show’s success as they continue to build out the world of Game of Thrones.
Release Info
The new series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, will begin streaming on HBO and Max on January 18th. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Dunk and Egg stories, the show follows the adventures of Dunk and Egg with a more focused and realistic style than previous shows in the Game of Thrones universe.
