Yep, that means you have to pay to go see Avatar numerous times.

If the reports are accurate, this would be one of Marvel’s boldest moves yet to regain audience excitement after some recent box office disappointments.

Rumor: Three Trailers That Connect Together

During the show, a host said they were told by someone in marketing that Marvel is planning to release three trailers. These trailers will each have different content, but when watched together, they’ll create a complete picture.

As a huge movie fan, I heard they’re planning to release this in stages over three weeks, and it’s really cool – each week’s release will be shown alongside screenings of the new Avatar movie, Fire and Ash. It’s a smart way to get the word out, and I’m excited to see it with that film!

Why Marvel Might Try a Multi-Trailer Event

For years, Marvel movies have conditioned viewers to stay after the credits for extra scenes, jokes, and hidden surprises.

Honestly, I think it’s totally doable to build an event around releasing trailers, especially for something like the MCU. They could really use a shot in the arm right now, and a big trailer event could be just the thing.

Adding a fresh trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash to showings each week would encourage theaters to actively promote both it and the current film.

Disney is really pushing for Avengers: Doomsday to earn over $1 billion, which is how much money the movie needs to make to avoid losing money. They might try a special marketing campaign featuring The Avengers to get fans excited again.
