Nintendo just dropped a new seven-minute trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, finally giving fans a good look at the game after a long wait. It’s a detailed preview of the upcoming action-adventure title.
The new trailer showcases Samus Aran’s journey across the planet Viewros, where she’ll use exciting psychic abilities and travel on her advanced motorcycle, the Vi-0-La. Fans will also see Sylux, a returning bounty hunter first introduced in Metroid Prime Hunters.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is currently in development by Retro Studios for both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Originally revealed at E3 in 2017, the game began with Bandai Namco Studios, but Nintendo decided to reboot the project in 2019. Retro Studios, along with producer Kensuke Tanabe—who worked on earlier Metroid Prime titles—is now leading development.
