It’s hard to believe the original Nickelodeon show is already 20 years old! Alongside these new releases, fans can also anticipate *Avatar: Seven Havens* and a live-action *The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender* film, as well as Netflix’s successful live-action adaptation. Let’s talk about the new *Avatar* game. Currently called *Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game* (though that name might change!), it will feature characters like Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Azula, Toph, and Korra with 2D animation. It’s planned for release on all gaming consoles in 2026.
The upcoming animated series will use 2D animation and will feature both reimagined scenes from the original *Avatar* TV show and comics, as well as completely new content.
