- Cadillac debuts Elevated Velocity, an all-electric high-performance crossover at The Quail
- Features immersive drive modes, gull-wing doors and recovery-focused cabin tech
- Signals Cadillac’s intent to merge V-Series performance with future EV luxury
At The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, Cadillac unveiled their most daring concept yet – the Elevated Velocity. This all-electric, top-tier crossover seamlessly blends the brand’s V-Series heritage with ultra-luxury and advanced design. The Elevated Velocity is a 2+2 performance crossover that offers a blend of on-road accuracy and off-road prowess, equipped with massive 24-inch wheels and a raised chassis built for desert exploration. The vehicle’s name symbolizes its dual nature: “Elevated” signifying its luxurious cabin ambiance and “Velocity” representing its high-performance electric vehicle personality.
Within, the futuristic interior presents an immersive selection of drive modes that revamp the ambiance. Upon entry, Welcome Mode illuminates panels and swings open gull-wing doors to greet occupants. Elevate Mode converts the cabin into a relaxation lounge, complete with retractable controls, infrared light therapy, and synchronized breathing visuals. Velocity Mode intensifies concentration through cool-toned lighting, a deployable steering wheel, and AR HUD navigation. Driving modes can be customized to road (e-Velocity), off-road (Terra), or sandstorm visibility (Sand Vision) conditions.
Externally, the Vapor Blue body with hints of grey reminiscent of glacial ice is paired with a vibrant red interior inspired by desert polo games. Its sleek design features sculpted lines, clear lighting elements with flutes, and Cadillac’s distinctive vertical tail lights that add to its presence. Despite being only a concept design not intended for production, the Elevated Velocity represents Cadillac’s ambition to venture beyond luxury SUVs into the world of electrified high-performance crossovers.
