The commercial is filled with nods to the movie “Good Will Hunting” and popular 90s TV shows like “Friends,” “Cheers,” “Seinfeld,” “A Different World,” “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” and “Family Matters.” To make it feel even more like the 90s, the actors were made to look younger using visual effects, but they filmed the scenes on a real set to maintain a genuine retro atmosphere.
