50 Cent says he’s in no hurry to reach billionaire status

As a fan who has grown up listening to 50 Cent’s powerful beats and witnessed his phenomenal rise to fame and fortune, I can’t help but admire his humility and level-headedness. Despite amassing an impressive fortune, he remains grounded and focused on achieving success rather than chasing a label like billionaire status.

As a gamer putting my fingers to the keys, let me tell ya, I ain’t got nowhere near 50 Cent’s bankroll. With over 35 million albums sold and a tour raking in over $100 mill, plus some savvy investments and successful TV production under his belt, it’s clear he’s rolling in the dough. In a recent chat with Us Weekly, he straight-up admitted to being “very, very rich.” But when asked if he’s reached billionaire status yet, ol’ 50 Cent said he ain’t got no rush for that.

He said, “I don’t focus on money as others might – I measure my success by the number of victories and achievements I’ve accumulated instead. Frankly, I’ve surpassed all predictions about me, which has taken many by surprise. My endurance in this field has been unexpected, but it fuels me even more. To be honest, I’m not chasing billionaire status. I’ve already acquired every car I desired, numerous times over. So, why the rush?”

As a gamer, I spilled the beans that raking in billions wouldn’t be my cup of tea. The extra attention and drama it brings just isn’t my thing. Moreover, it doesn’t really alter my lifestyle much because I can already grab whatever I fancy.

50 pointed out that when people declare you a billionaire, they target your wealth. For instance, the IRS might demand nearly six out of every ten dollars you earn. Lawyers and opportunists, like an endless swarm, come after you. Therefore, you would need to safeguard yourself due to your substantial resources… Being a billionaire isn’t very different from my current situation in terms of needing protection.

It’s quite likely that 50 will achieve billionaire status within a relatively short timeframe due to his recent establishment of the G-Unit film studio in Shreveport, Louisiana – a significant step forward.

50 clearly expressed his intention to nurture talent, provide chances for people in Shreveport, and motivate the local community when he spoke with Billboard in April. His endeavor earned him high accolades from Mayor Tom Arceneaux upon the launch of his studio, and he was even presented with a key to Shreveport as a gesture of appreciation.

Should 50 achieve becoming a billionaire, he would then be part of an exclusive club that includes hip-hop legends such as Jay-Z, along with the controversial record industry mogul and rap artist Sean “Puff Daddy” or “Diddy” Combs.
