Every December, families continue to enjoy the movie’s creative costumes and detailed sets.
‘Toy Story’ (1995)

As a movie fan, I’ll always remember when Pixar blew everyone away with Toy Story. It’s the story of what toys get up to when we’re not around, and it centers on Woody, a cowboy doll, who gets a little jealous when Buzz Lightyear, a cool space ranger toy, shows up. They start off as rivals, but they have to team up to escape a really mean kid next door and find their way back to their owner, Andy. It’s a classic for a reason – the animation was totally new at the time, and the story is just so heartwarming and relatable. It still holds up beautifully!
‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps’ (2025)

Marvel’s newest film brings the Fantastic Four – a classic superhero family – into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a unique, retro-inspired style. Led by the brilliant Reed Richards, the team navigates dangerous adventures in space while learning to control their incredible powers. This movie is designed to connect with future Marvel films and introduces famous villains from the comics. Fans are excited to see a new cast take on these beloved characters and how they fit into the existing Marvel story.
‘Freakier Friday’ (2025)

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are back together in a sequel to their hit comedy about switching bodies! This time, the mother and daughter find themselves in another strange situation involving different generations. As they try to handle life and work while stuck in each other’s bodies, plenty of laughs happen. The film is boosted by a wave of nostalgia and is proving popular with viewers online.

‘Home Alone’ (1990)

When his family accidentally leaves for vacation without him, eight-year-old Kevin McCallister has to protect his home from a pair of burglars. Starring Macaulay Culkin, this funny and feel-good holiday movie is known for its clever traps and iconic music by John Williams. It’s a Christmas classic that people enjoy watching every winter.
‘Zootopia’ (2016)

I absolutely loved this animated movie! It’s about a brand new rabbit cop, Judy Hopps, who has to team up with a really sly fox, Nick Wilde, to solve a big mystery in a city full of animals who act like people. What’s really cool is how the movie uses the animal city to talk about real-world problems and the different areas of the city feel so unique. Seeing Judy and Nick work together, even though they start out not trusting each other, was amazing – it really made you think about judging others. And honestly, the story is so captivating and the world is so detailed, I’ve watched it again and again – it’s just a fantastic mystery!
