Everyone is already excited for Zootopia 2, and it’s expected to be a major hit when it comes out in 2025. According to one report, the movie sequel is predicted to make over $200 million in its opening weekend and potentially exceed $500 million globally within its first few days. While these figures haven’t been officially verified, they demonstrate the significant anticipation surrounding the film.

The team behind the first Zootopia movie is back for the sequel, with Jared Bush and Byron Howard directing and Bush writing the screenplay. The original voice cast – including Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, and Shakira – all returned, and they were joined by new actors like Ke Huy Quan, Andy Samberg, Fortune Feimster, David Strathairn, Patrick Warburton, and Quinta Brunson. In this installment, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde take on a new, undercover case centered around a puzzling new reptile resident.
