Put an end to your desire for payback with the ultimate Orphie & Magus team setup! These characters are Attack Agents who deal Fire damage. They support their team by attacking from the sidelines, adding extra damage over time and boosting everyone’s attack power.

Orphie & Magus excel at using their Special and EX Special Attacks, with multiple options available. When they’re not actively fighting, they automatically cast supportive attacks like Corrosive Flash and Crimson Vortex to help their allies. While on the field, they can use their EX Special Attack, Watch Your Step, which deals Fire damage and recovers Bottled Heat.

Orphie & Magus can carry up to 125 Bottled Heat. If they have 100 or more, they can unleash a powerful attack called Heat Charge by holding the Special Attack button. This uses all their Bottled Heat to fire a laser beam that deals Fire damage and also activates Quick Assist. The longer they fire, the stronger the attack becomes, and they’ll automatically defend against attacks while shooting. Once they’ve fired for a maximum time, they’ll finish with Fiery Eruption, a final, massive burst of Fire damage.

You can collect the Bottled Heat needed for this EX Special Attack by performing Special Attacks, EX Special Attacks, Chain Attacks, and Ultimates.

Orphie & Magus’ attacks – including their regular attacks, special moves, chain attacks, and ultimate abilities – all contribute to a special type of damage called Aftershock DMG. Their Core Skill boosts both their critical hit rate and Aftershock DMG. When Orphie & Magus use their Heat Charge special attack, all teammates receive a buff called Zeroed In, which increases their attack power based on how quickly Orphie & Magus regain energy. If the team also includes a character who can stun enemies or provide support, Zeroed In will allow the affected allies to deal even more Aftershock DMG by partially ignoring the enemy’s defense.

Orphie & Magus are strong support characters who excel in teams focused on Aftershock damage and boosting overall attack power. They primarily fight from the sidelines, quickly entering battle to unleash their powerful Heat Charge before returning to support, providing consistent off-field damage.

Anby is a strong attacker who primarily deals damage over time, and benefits from being on the field for extended periods. She works exceptionally well with Orphie and Magus. When activated, she boosts the Teamwork Ability of other agents and enhances damage over time effects, often requiring less time on the field than Orphie and Magus to be effective. Pulchra is a good, more affordable option if you need an agent who can stun enemies.

Orphie & Magus work well as dual damage dealers alongside Seed because they consistently use energy and their abilities complement each other. If you’ve upgraded Lucy to Mindscape Cinema Level 6, she’s a great support character to pair with Orphie & Magus; their frequent attacks will activate Lucy’s special attacks even when she’s not actively in battle.

ZZZ – Orphie & Magus: promotion materials

Once you’ve unlocked Orphie and Magus, it’s best to upgrade them quickly so you can use their skills in battles. Here’s a list of the items you’ll need to get them to Level 60:

Okay, so I’ve figured out a couple of things. You can get those Certification Seals by battling it out in the VR Combat Simulation. Also, I can use weaker materials to craft the really good stuff. And if I want to earn Dennies, I can either grind in the VR Combat Simulation or actually *work* at the Random Play video store – who knew?

While leveling up Orphie and Magus is important, fully upgrading their skills is key to maximizing their battle performance. Below is a list of all the materials needed to max out each of their skills – Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack. The numbers provided represent the total materials for all five skills, so simply divide each total by five to find out how much you need for a single skill.

To make Orphie and Magus more powerful, you can improve their Core Skill six times. Here’s what you’ll need to do that:

You can get Miasmic Elytron by completing the Expert Challenge, Miasma Ravager – Avarus. Scarlet Engine, on the other hand, is a reward for finishing the Notorious Hunt, Corrupted Overlord – Pompey.
