A wax figure of Zendaya was revealed at Madame Tussauds in New York City on Wednesday, January 7th.
The museum calls the wax figure incredibly lifelike, depicting the actress in a black outfit similar to one she wore at a February 2024 fan event for Dune: Part Two in Mexico City. Interestingly, the statue includes a copy of her engagement ring – a horizontal oval diamond – even though she and Tom Holland weren’t engaged at the time.
According to Tiago Mogadouro, general manager of Madame Tussauds New York, Zendaya is now one of the most famous and admired celebrities. He stated that her wax figure celebrates her significant and continuing influence on the worlds of entertainment and fashion.

Zendaya has had wax figures made of her before. She first unveiled figures at Madame Tussauds in 2015, with one displayed in San Francisco and another in Orlando. She even sat for detailed measurements to make sure the figures looked just like her. At the time, she said it was a huge honor, especially to have one in the Bay Area, where she grew up. She added that it was a wonderful experience to be home with family and friends.
A new statue honoring Zendaya has been unveiled in New York City. This comes during a very active year for the actress, who is preparing to return for the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria. In addition to starring in the show, Zendaya also helped create music for it, previously working with Labrinth.
I’m really excited about seeing more of her work soon! She’s going to be in Kristoffer Borgli’s new film, The Drama, with Robert Pattinson – that’s coming out in April. And then in July, she’s playing Athena in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which I’ve already marked on my calendar!
