Louis Vuitton is celebrating 130 years of its famous Monogram pattern with a new campaign featuring actress Zendaya. Known for her work in shows like Euphoria and films like Dune, Zendaya is shown in photos and videos with the classic Speedy handbag.
This project builds on a previous ad campaign from January that highlighted the timeless quality of vintage bags. Company leader Bernard Arnault recently shared that they’re concentrating on their signature products rather than expanding into too many new areas. He also pointed out that the campaign is performing exceptionally well with audiences, despite featuring bags that are over 50 years old.
A highlight of the new campaign is a short film directed by Roman Coppola, starring Zendaya. In the film, Zendaya playfully talks to her handbag, describing a feeling of connection to its speed and saying it mirrors her own natural sense of momentum. Zendaya has been a face of Louis Vuitton since 2023, and she’s the first of several celebrities who will appear in campaigns celebrating the brand’s anniversary this year.

Beginning February 11th, well-known personalities like Catherine Deneuve and Hoyeon will star in new advertisements. The Speedy bag has a rich history, and designers have even previously added graffiti to it. Throughout the year, the brand will continue the celebration with temporary pop-up shops and special, limited-edition collections inspired by its iconic brown and gold design.
As a huge movie fan, I’m really excited about what’s shaping up to be Zendaya’s biggest year yet! Just yesterday, the full trailer dropped for her new A24 film, The Drama, and the internet is already buzzing. It looks intense – she plays a woman in a relationship with Robert Pattinson, and the trailer suggests everything falls apart right before their wedding when some really personal secrets come out. It’s directed by Kristoffer Borgli and is hitting theaters on April 3rd, so mark your calendars!
Good news for fans of Zendaya’s TV shows: Season 3 of Euphoria is set to premiere on April 12th, according to HBO. This season will jump forward five years, showing Rue and her friends navigating life as young adults after graduating high school.
The popular actress isn’t slowing down! She’ll appear in the new Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31st, alongside her fiancé, Tom Holland. Then, she’ll reprise her role as Chani in Dune: Part Three on December 18th. With so many big releases in one year, she’s solidified her place as one of the world’s leading actresses.
