Namely, according to a new rumor, the movie is aiming to land a major A-list actress as its star!
The gossip under discussion originates from DanielRPK on his Patreon platform. It’s worth noting that DanielRPK is well-known for dishing out Hollywood gossip and enjoys a good reputation, so his rumors are often reliable, even though it’s essential to approach them with a bit of skepticism.
As per Richtman’s report, it seems that Zendaya is being considered for the lead role in the upcoming movie. Given her background in musicals, securing her for the project could significantly boost the film’s production if they are able to confirm Zendaya’s participation.
1955’s initial version boasted a remarkable ensemble including Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra, and Vivian Blaine. If the whispers are correct, the upcoming remake has set quite a challenge for itself in terms of its talented actors.
The revamped version of this film has been under development for quite some time, but it started its initial production phase in September 2024.
