Zelda Movie Steals Avengers’ Release Date!

The live-action Legend of Zelda movie by Nintendo has been given a new launch date – May 7, 2027. Interestingly, this was previously reserved for Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars, which has now shifted to December 17, 2027.

Miyamoto announced on social media that due to production factors, the release date for the live-action movie adaptation of ‘The Legend of Zelda’ has been moved to May 7, 2027.

He mentioned, ‘The release date may be delayed a bit from what was initially planned, giving us more time to ensure the movie is of the highest quality possible. Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.’

Details for the flick include Wes Ball directing and Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad producing.

As of now, no official announcements regarding casting have been made. The speculation that Hunter Schafer might portray Zelda seems unsubstantiated.
