Zack Snyder posted a video on Instagram showing Gal Gadot practicing her first “Gauntlet Smash” scene while filming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The brief video features Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, practicing the famous moment where her bracelets collide, creating a powerful blast.
Zack Snyder shared a video of his first practice session with Gal Gadot for the ‘Gauntlet Smash,’ filmed on his phone. He described the experience as “pure joy” and “pure power.”
Seeing that post just reminded me again how much everyone still loves Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, especially with everything changing in the DC Universe right now. It’s cool to see so many fans still appreciate her take on the character!

Gunn Denies Wonder Woman Casting Rumors
It’s noteworthy that Snyder shared this information around the same time rumors surfaced about James Gunn potentially including Wonder Woman in his new Superman film, Man of Tomorrow.
James Gunn addressed rumors on Threads, confirming the character isn’t involved. He explained they’re currently casting a female role for ‘The Marvels’ and suspects gossipers incorrectly guessed it was Wonder Woman.
It turns out the character is actually Maxima, not Wonder Woman, which corrects some earlier, incorrect reports.
Maxima is a strong alien queen from the planet Almerac who appears in DC Comics. She’s often depicted as trying to win Superman’s affection and has incredible powers, including super strength, the ability to read minds (telepathy), and control energy. While not usually a straightforward villain, Maxima is generally shown as an anti-hero or someone who helps the good guys when it suits her.

Snyder Keeps the SnyderVerse Spirit Alive
With little glimpses like this and recent hints about The Dark Knight Returns, Zack Snyder is consistently reminding fans of his work on DC films, leading many to believe his vision for the Justice League isn’t finished.
