Zack Snyder shared a new behind-the-scenes photo on social media, showing Amber Heard as her character Mera from the DC Extended Universe films.
Jason Momoa posted a photo of Amber Heard on Instagram, taken in Iceland while they were filming, and captioned it, “My @amberheard — photographed with my Leica Q.”
The picture seems to have been taken during the initial filming of the Justice League movie in Iceland, before Zack Snyder left the project.

Another Round of DCEU Nostalgia From Snyder
Zack Snyder recently shared new content online, continuing a trend of posts showcasing Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and footage from his DC movies.
Honestly, every time the director shares a new picture, it gets everyone talking! We’re all trying to figure out if it’s a hint about a new project, or just them looking back on past work. It’s fun to speculate, though!

Why Fans Think the Timing Matters
These posts appear as conversations about the future of DC are heating up, largely because of the ongoing sale of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Now that people previously involved with the DC movie universe are speaking out more online, and Zack Snyder is interacting with fans, many think something might be happening behind the scenes to revive those projects.
We’ve been told the SnyderVerse is back in play.
