Zack Snyder recently posted another picture of Ben Affleck as Batman on Instagram, continuing to share content from the DC Extended Universe.
This time Snyder posted a black-and-white shot labeled: “Leica monochrome hard suit test BvS.”
The photo features Ben Affleck wearing the armored Batsuit from Batman v Superman. It’s from early test shots and is the same suit he wears during the memorable warehouse fight with Superman in the movie.
It’s also the second “hard suit” image that Snyder shared.

Snyder’s IG Activity Continues to Raise Eyebrows
Over the past few weeks, Snyder has shared several pictures from the DC Extended Universe, featuring actors like Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.
He’s back on Instagram and sharing a lot of DC-related content, which is leading people to believe something big is happening with his work.
It’s great to see Larry Fong back on social media! He’s been setting the record straight about the SnyderVerse, and honestly, it’s been really helpful to clear up a lot of the wrong information that’s been spreading around. As a fan, I really appreciate him taking the time to do that.
Several film studios are interested in acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery. This comes after reports that Donald Trump wants to see more classic action movies, and Paramount is bringing back the Rush Hour franchise.
There’s talk that the creative vision of Zack Snyder – often called the “SnyderVerse” – might be revived. Interestingly, Donald Trump is a fan of Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman. The director of Rush Hour helped fund the SnyderVerse projects, and that producer has connections to Saudi investors. Plus, Michael Bay is returning to the Transformers franchise, having gone to film school with Snyder.
The timing has not gone unnoticed by fans.

The BvS Hard Suit: A Defining Image of Affleck’s Batman
As a fan, I always thought Batman’s armored suit in Zack Snyder’s movies was incredible. It was clearly inspired by Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, and that black and white test footage really showed how Snyder wanted the fight between Batman and Superman to feel – gritty, powerful, and like a real, heavy-duty clash.
Zack Snyder’s decision to release behind-the-scenes test photos, rather than polished promotional images, offers fans a unique glimpse into how the movie was made. This, along with his recent posts, shows he’s intentionally focusing on that time period again.
