‘You’re Hands…’: Meg Ryan calls Taylor Swift THIS Post London Eras Tour

As a dedicated follower of both the silver screen and pop culture icons, I can wholeheartedly attest that Meg Ryan’s recent endorsement of Taylor Swift as “hands down the Queen” is a testament to the power of timeless artistry that transcends generations. Having grown up with Meg’s romantic comedy reign during the ’90s and now witnessing Taylor’s meteoric rise, I find it fascinating how these two queens of their respective realms have managed to captivate audiences in such different yet equally mesmerizing ways.

90’s romantic comedy icon Meg Ryan recently found herself in the company of another celebrated figure – pop music sensation Taylor Swift. On August 16th, during Taylor’s London stop for her Eras Tour, Meg was spotted in attendance and appeared to be quite taken with the performance.

After the incredible concert I attended yesterday, I couldn’t help but share my admiration on Instagram. I bestowed Taylor Swift with one of the highest compliments a fan can give – I crowned her the Queen. The post showcases a photo of two hands adorned with friendship bracelets, a staple accessory for Taylor’s Eras Tour, symbolizing her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid.” My caption reads, “Last night at Wembley… WOW. Thank you, @taylorswift, You’re hands down the Queen!”

The way friendship bracelets have gained popularity among Swiftie followers is quite intriguing. At concerts, they exchange these bracelets as a token representing their bond. Ryan’s recent post acknowledges the sense of camaraderie that Taylor Swift has fostered, both online and in person.

As a dedicated follower of both Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds, I have to say that I was absolutely thrilled when news broke last fall about their joint appearance, even if it wasn’t for the reason one might initially think. You see, as a fan who’s been eagerly waiting for Ryan’s return to the rom-com genre with the highly anticipated What Happens Later, and equally excited for Taylor’s concert film premiere on October 13, 2023, I was disheartened to find out that these two events were scheduled to take place on the same day in AMC theaters.

Moving on to the London Eras Tour performance, I must confess that I hold immense respect for the artist whose temporary interference caused a slight hiccup in the release of the movie.

In a more upbeat situation, the enthusiastic Swifties were delighted by Meg’s post. Fans were quick to affirm her compliments towards their beloved artist, Taylor. One fan exclaimed, “Indeed she is!” while another acknowledged, “Only a queen recognizes another queen.”

In a manner reminiscent of Meg Ryan’s memorable scenes, she has gifted us another cherished moment in reality, not on screen. And let me tell you, with such an endorsement from the star of When Harry Met Sally, there’s no questioning it: Taylor Swift truly reigns as “undoubtedly the Queen.”
