Young Thug has returned with new music! After being released, he’s dropping his fourth studio album, UY SCUTI, following a short wait.

Thugger appropriately titled his project after the largest known star, a red supergiant 5,900 light-years away in the Scutum constellation. He uses this imagery to portray his comeback, framing his recent struggles as a rise to success while reflecting on the past year.

Young Thug’s album, UY SCUTI, feels like a look back at everything he’s been through recently, covering the last year and a half of his life. It’s a sprawling project filled with personal stories and references, where his unique musical talents really stand out, especially when he’s rapping solo.

The album “Ninja” starts with two minutes of audio from the legal proceedings, then quickly features collaborations with Ken Carson on “Yuck” and Cardi B on “Catch Me I’m Falling.” After a few solo tracks, the artist brings in a string of guest appearances from T.I., Mariah The Scientist, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, YFN Lucci, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Lil Gotit, and 1300SAINT.

The rapper doesn’t mention Gunna until the eighth song, hinting at accusations of snitching on “Sad Slime.” The album features Future on the 19th track, “Money on Money,” and ends with the emotional song “Miss My Dogs.”
