HBO’s fresh limited series titled “C.B. Strike: The Ink Black Heart” will make its debut on January 23 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This show is adapted from the crime novels written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, which is actually J.K. Rowling herself. It’s part of the popular “Strike” series, jointly produced with the BBC, marking the latest addition to this intriguing collection.
As a devoted cinephile, I find myself immersed in a four-part tale where ‘Strike’ and ‘Robin’ delve into a murder that eerily connects to the visionary mind behind a beloved cult TV cartoon. Alongside this, they grapple with an elusive online menace going by the handle of ‘‘Anomie’‘, a phantom tormentor lurking in the digital shadows.
In this situation, they’re dealing with a particularly challenging case due to the multitude of digital personas and confidential business information at play. Every step could potentially bring risk or peril.
This production features actors such as Tom Burke, Holliday Grainger, David Westhead, Christian McKay, Emma Fielding, along with several others. The story has been brought to life for television by Tom Edge. Sue Tully is responsible for directing this project. J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and Nick Lambon serve as executive producers.

You can catch C.B. Strike: The Ink Black Heart on HBO and stream it on Max starting January 23.
