In ‘There Is No Such Thing As A Completely Secure Hidden Room 2,’ Hosho led Kageyama to the crime scene. There, Hosho discovered a concealed entrance behind what appeared to be a painted window. They ventured into a hidden tunnel and encountered Shoko Sasano, who attacked with a sword. As Kageyama defended Hosho, she struck Kageyama instead.
Initially, it appeared that she overpowered Sasano; however, it was later discovered that Kazamatsuri had shielded her, and Kageyama remained unscathed. In truth, Sasano had slain Keizan in defense, then escaped through a secret passage. The ensuing investigation started with the discovery of Ryota Ishigoro’s lifeless body near a river, which bore a striking resemblance to Kazamatsuri. Reiko launched an inquiry into actress Shiho Kambara’s possible role in these events.
Expected plot in The Dinner Table Detective Episode 9
In Episode 9 of The Dinner Table Detective, we’ll delve deeper into the case surrounding tabloid photographer Ryota Ishigoro, whose lifeless body was discovered near the Tama River. Contrary to his dry attire, authorities concluded that Ishigoro had died from drowning, suggesting a minimal amount of water could have been enough to cause it, as noted by Kazamatsuri.
It’s been discovered that Ryota may have been involved in extorting Shiho Kambara and her husband over accusations of an affair. However, the Kambaras claim they have solid alibis for their whereabouts. Yet, samples of river algae were found at Ryota’s residence, suggesting a possible connection. A necklace with the inscription “Shiho to Leo” was later discovered, pointing towards a secret romance that could potentially implicate Shiho more deeply in this case.
