Oh my goodness, I can’t contain my excitement as I rave about the arrival of my newborn son! Just like the resilient Yellowjackets character I play on screen, I’ve weathered the storms of pregnancy to bring this little miracle into our lives. My heart is overflowing with love ever since December 2024 when I welcomed him into our family, hand in hand with my loving husband, Christian DeAnda. Fast forward to March 7th, and I couldn’t help but share a heartwarming snapshot of us cuddled up together, along with his precious name for the world to see!
“My little Levi,” she wrote in the caption, accompanied by a sun emoji.
Prior to disclosing his name, Hanratty had previously posted a TikTok video detailing that their upcoming child would be born with a cleft lip. In this video, shared last autumn, they conveyed that the condition wouldn’t hinder their joy as parents, as long as their baby was content and in good health.
Later on, the actress disclosed that Levi had a surgical procedure in February to rectify his cleft lip. On social media, she exclaimed about how fantastic the surgeon was at the time. She reminisced about the three-hour operation as being quite scary, but commended her little boy’s courage.
During an interview with People magazine towards the end of that month, Hanratty expressed that her child was making a good progress in recovery. On February 13th, at the Yellowjackets Season 3 premiere, she spoke about her newfound role as a mother to the same outlet.
She gleefully declared that being a mom is wonderful, but being his mother is my destiny,” she enthused. The actress from The Seeds of Yesterday referred to Levi as the actual incarnation of her dreams and wishes. Describing him as the most precious treasure of her life, she openly admitted her deep affection for her little boy.
During the production of Yellowjackets Season 3, Hanratty, who was expecting Levi at the time, found the situation challenging. Looking back, though, she takes pride in her ability to juggle a complex pregnancy alongside the demands of filming a high-intensity television series.
As a devoted admirer putting it in my own words, when I was inquisitive about how she kept her pregnancy under wraps during the series, Hanratty shared her secret, “I simply donned larger garments, roomier trousers, and various other concealing tricks.
