X-Men’s X-Mansion Deluxe LEGO Set Comes Complete with Sentinel Robot.

As a child of the ’90s, I can’t contain my excitement over the upcoming LEGO X-Mansion Buildable Set! Growing up, the X-Men were a constant source of inspiration and escapism for me. From Saturday morning cartoons to the pages of Jim Lee’s iconic comics, the mutant team was always there, embodying the ideals of acceptance, diversity, and unity that resonated deeply with me.

Since 1963’s issue #1 of Uncanny X-Men, Professor Xavier’s School for Exceptionally Talented Youth has been deeply rooted in Marvel’s mutant folklore. Situated within the ancestral manor of Charles Xavier in Westchester, New York, this location has often been wrecked by villains but has always been rebuilt to serve as both residence and training ground for the X-Men team. Now, this legendary Marvel site is being transformed into a LEGO deluxe set, featuring several X-Men characters, their adversary Magneto, and a Sentinel robot. You can take a peek at the first images of the upcoming LEGO X-Men X-Mansion set in our gallery below.

The LEGO X-Mansion consists of 3,093 parts and comes equipped with a Cerebro section, Danger Room items, an explosive cupola, and a motorcycle for Wolverine. Most thrillingly, it contains a buildable Sentinel mutant-hunting robot and ten X-Men mini-figures. Five of these figures are newly designed, specifically crafted for this set. These new figures include Professor X in his wheelchair, a fresh take on Jean Grey, Gambit, Iceman, and Bishop. Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops, and Rogue are also included. Jubilee is depicted in a blue transparent component on one of the consoles, as is Hank McCoy, better known as Beast.

Starting October 31st/November 1st at 9pm PT/12am ET, LEGO Insiders will have early access to the X-Mansion Buildable LEGO Set, priced at $329.99. This set, a tribute to Marvel’s mutant team in their ’90s pop culture prime, will also be available to the general public on November 4th. If you’re a Marvel Comics enthusiast, a fan of LEGO, or if watching X-Men: The Animated Series and reading Jim Lee’s comics during Saturday mornings brought back fond memories, then this set is definitely worth adding to your collection.
