This show cleverly mixes a nostalgic, vintage-tech aesthetic with the relatable struggles of teenagers, highlighting the tension between rigid rules and the complexities of growing up. A strong central performance is supported by a realistic cast of classmates, teachers, and family, creating a believable world.
