Wuchang: Fallen Feathers devs apologize for broken Steam launch & promise fixes

The creators of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers have acknowledged and worked on easing player concerns, which had been growing due to the game’s rocky debut on PC.

In the initial launch, the video game titled Wuchang: Fallen Feathers encountered significant technical glitches on personal computers, leading to an overwhelming wave of negative feedback from players due to subpar performance, numerous bugs, and unfulfilled pre-order incentives. On Steam, the game presently has a predominantly negative rating, with more than 37,000 user reviews expressing these concerns.

In response, developer Leenzee and publisher 505 Games have issued a statement via the game’s official Steam page, acknowledging the complaints and promising fixes.

Wuchang devs promise performance fixes

The team is assured that the game runs well according to our suggested specifications, however, we’re continuously trying to improve its performance. We plan to release an update as quickly as possible.

For those players who are encountering problems, it’s recommended they attempt to fix the issue by tweaking their in-game settings according to the official FAQ, or alternatively, they can reach out to our support team by submitting a ticket for a quicker resolution and better problem identification.

In addition to addressing performance issues, developers have identified a glitch within the reward distribution mechanism for the game. This glitch has been causing some players not to receive the proper pre-order bonuses for both the Standard and Deluxe versions of the game.

To show our appreciation for your purchase, everyone buying the game from Steam gets a complimentary digital version of the game’s original soundtrack as a bonus. If you’ve previously bought the soundtrack individually, we’ll also refund your money.

Additionally, the team revealed their intention to incorporate a fresh, unique outfit only available for Deluxe Edition users in an upcoming release; however, they cautioned that it might require some time before it becomes available.

Hey gamers! I’ve got some news straight from our developer team. We’re diving deep into those issues you’ve been reporting, aiming to tackle them swiftly. Rest assured, these bugs are our top priority. We really appreciate your patience, understanding, and support as we work through this process together. Let’s conquer the gaming world hand in hand!
