Since I didn’t fully consider the implications of a second season when we initially embarked on Season 1, the prospect of continuing with Season 2 brought about significant pressure. I found myself questioning whether I could truly deliver, wondering if I was capable of crafting or penning something that would surpass the first season.
Initially, I had doubts about the narrative flow when delving into Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) resurgence in the game with personal objectives. However, as I progressed, I found the storyline to be far more captivating than anticipated. This allowed me to develop a richer plot, create more compelling characters, and devise more innovative and suspenseful games too.
As I progressed, I found that the initial feeling of responsibility or stress transformed into a wellspring of joy. Simultaneously, I grew more assured that we were crafting something the fans of the first season would appreciate and not be let down by. To clarify, this was no walk in the park. Yet, with that newfound confidence, I believe I tackled it with a more effective strategy.

I developed Seasons 2 and 3 concurrently, where a pivotal moment occurs within the narrative, triggering a chain of distinct occurrences and ultimately bringing about a substantial transformation in the character. Notably, the conclusion for Season 2 emerged rather quickly in my thought process.
Initially, I had a different vision for the end of Season 3, but as I progressed with the story and scriptwriting, I found myself drawn towards a new direction. Consequently, the ending of Season 3 shifted during the creation of Season 2.
