As a fervent admirer of Lottie Moss, witnessing her harrowing ordeal with Ozempic serves as a stark reminder of the perils that come with blind pursuit of unattainable beauty standards. Having grown up idolizing the Moss sisters and their enigmatic allure, it pains me to see one of them suffer so gravely due to the misuse of a medication.
Lottie Moss, Kate Moss‘s young sister by another parent, has shared her experience of being hospitalized due to Ozempic usage. She cautions anyone considering this medication for weight loss purposes.
On September 12th, the 26-year-old model shared on her Dream On podcast that she had chosen to use a diabetes medication often associated with weight loss.
As an ardent fan, let me confess to you all – honestly, I can’t sugarcoat this. A while back, my confidence wasn’t exactly sky-high due to some weight concerns. Weighing in at 110 pounds, I found myself in a position I never wanted to be in. Recently, I made the mistake of using a medication intended for individuals over 242 pounds.
Moss continued by saying, “That was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, and if my experience serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering the same path, please don’t do it. It’s simply not worth the trouble. I’d rather endure any day than go through that ordeal again.
Lottie shared that, following about two weeks of taking the medicine, she realized the dosage wasn’t right, leading to a day when she fell gravely ill, losing her complexion, and becoming too weak to write. Her friend had to drive her to the hospital due to this.
The podcast host asserted she would vomit intensely, felt extremely queasy, and had never felt this unwell before, also mentioning an absence of significant weight loss. Moss described how, upon reaching the emergency room at 3:00 a.m. accompanied by her friend, her eyes appeared sunken in deeply.
Following her transfer to a different part of the hospital, she conversed with a nurse who explained that she had been administering an incorrect dosage of Ozempic and was severely dehydrated, potentially leading to a seizure. On Lottie’s social media platforms, fans expressed their disapproval due to her usage of Ozempic without a prescription, labeling her actions as reckless.
