Wizards Beyond Waverly Place FIRST LOOK Take Fans Back To ‘Where It All Started’ With Selena Gomez And David Henrie; See HERE

As a lifestyle expert with a deep-rooted affection for nostalgia, I must say that the revival of Wizards of Waverly Place is like stumbling upon a long-lost friend after years apart. The original series was a significant part of my childhood, and the thought of revisiting the magical world of the Russo family fills me with unadulterated joy.

The Russo family, ready for a fresh start, are preparing to reintroduce themselves to a new audience, as they make their comeback on television screens, following over a decade’s absence.

On August 9th (Friday), Disney shared an early peek at the eagerly awaited continuation of Wizards of Waverly Place, called Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. In a brief behind-the-scenes video lasting about two minutes, Selena Gomez and David Henrie from the original series offer fans a sneak preview of what’s happening on the set of the follow-up show.

In the video available below, you’ll find the following new cast members: Janice LeAnn Brown portraying Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko in the role of Milo Russo, Taylor Cora acting as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t hide my excitement for the upcoming Disney series! The story revolves around me, Justin Russo (Henrie), who’ve been trying to live a regular, mortal life with my family. But when my sister Alex brings Billie to me in need, everything changes! It doesn’t take long for me to grasp that I must brush off the dust on my magical skills to guide this young wizard-in-training. Balancing my daily duties while ensuring the safety of the Wizard World becomes an exhilarating challenge – a journey I can’t wait to follow in this thrilling Disney adventure!

In the first sneak peek, Gomez – who portrayed Alex in the initial series – can be heard saying, “This is where it all began. We’re home,” as she warmly welcomes Henrie in an embrace. For now, Selena Gomez is only confirmed to appear in the pilot episode of the rebooted Disney show. The actor explains, “We aimed to rekindle the magic for a fresh audience.”

In the pilot’s opening scenes, the fresh characters are under Billie’s control, as she seems to relish her magic powers just a tad excessively.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this:

As a longtime fan of Disney Channel shows that blend magic, comedy, and relatable teenage drama, I am genuinely excited about the upcoming series “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.” Having grown up watching Disney Channel, I can appreciate the creativity and innovation that Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas have brought to their past projects. With their involvement as both writers and executive producers, I’m confident that this new show will be a fresh addition to the Disney family.
