According to the light novel penned by Saka, Once Upon a Witch’s Death is an upcoming fantasy and lifestyle anime set in a magical world. This series was initially released in October 2019, with Kenu Amearare providing the illustrations for its manga adaptation in March 2023.

On April 1, 2025, at 11:30 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST), Episode 1 of “Once Upon a Witch’s Death” will make its television debut in Japan. Subsequent global streaming is planned, with some regions possibly receiving the episode on April 2. The specific release times will depend on each region’s time zone.

In Japan, the television series “Once Upon a Witch’s Death” can be watched on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and additional streaming services such as Abema and d Anime Store.
