In the debut episode of ‘Witch Watch,’ entitled ‘The Return of the Witch,’ we meet Morihito Otogi, a relative of ogres, who shares his life with his childhood companion, Nico Wakatsuki, who has completed her witch training. While exhibiting a spell that transforms paper, Nico finds herself trapped within walls, forcing Morihito to smash through the barrier and save her from her predicament.
After being advised against utilizing magic publicly, Nico persistently chooses to aid those in need. Later, they manage to rescue a woman from flames, yet an unsuccessful incantation leads to complications. As the memory of a prophecy resurfaces, it warns of potential hazards surrounding Nico within the next twelve months for Morihito.
According to the official site, Witch Watch Episode 2 is named ‘Promising Rookie’, ‘Let’s Head to the Family Restaurant!’, or ‘The Flying Classroom‘. This episode introduces the start of Nico and Morihito’s shared journey. They will attend Asunaro Private High School together and find themselves in the same class.
Morihito is going to ask Nico to hide her role as a witch from everyone. Yet, in an attempt to help him covertly with magic, Nico might unintentionally expose her abilities to the whole classroom, causing unforeseen events for both of them.
