Ryder is the latest addition to an already impressive cast including Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joanna Lumley, and Fred Armisen. Eva Green has also recently joined the production, and will play Ophelia, Morticia Addams’ sister.

Winona Ryder is known for her memorable roles in Tim Burton films like Edward Scissorhands, Frankenweenie, and both Beetlejuice movies. She’s also received two Academy Award nominations for her performances in The Age of Innocence and Little Women. More recently, Ryder has appeared in the final season of the hit show Stranger Things, as well as the television series The Plot Against America and Show Me a Hero.

The popular Netflix series “Wednesday,” inspired by the characters created by Charles Addams, has continued to perform exceptionally well.
