Production for season three of Wednesday has begun in Dublin, and casting announcements are starting to roll in. Winona Ryder, fresh off her role in Stranger Things, will be joining the cast as a guest star. This will be the second time Ryder and Jenna Ortega have worked together, following their recent collaboration on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Several new actors are joining the Netflix series, including Noah Taylor, Chris Sarandon, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. Eva Green will play Aunt Ophelia. It’s currently unknown who the other new cast members will be portraying. Tim Burton, who is executive producing and directing, shared his enthusiasm for continuing Wednesday and working with Winona Ryder again. He said he’s thrilled to be back for Season 3, especially with the original cast and some longtime friends and colleagues like Winona, Eva, Chris, and Noah, making this season particularly meaningful for him.
Here we woe again with more drama at Nevermore Academy and beyond!
