During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show’s creator expressed her desire for viewers to experience a really fulfilling conclusion to their beloved series. Additionally, she hinted at the possibility of the characters making a comeback in future seasons.
Following two seasons of character Belly, skillfully played by Lola Tung, finding herself entangled in a romantic predicament involving both Conrad and Jeremiah, it appears that she will soon make the momentous choice of who represents the true love of her life.

During a chat with a media outlet, Han, the brainchild behind the Amazon Prime series, hinted that she might be open to creating another season if there’s scope for further story development.
In other words, the showrunner explained that they are open to any opportunity if it presents an interesting story, saying, “I don’t rule anything out. If there’s a compelling tale, I’m ready and willing.
She continued by saying, “As a storyteller, ideas for stories strike me constantly. If I come up with an exceptional idea that excites me and I’m eager to continue weaving the story, and if everyone involved is equally enthusiastic, then I become incredibly motivated.
Furthermore, discussing her connection with the show’s cast, Han expressed, “What I truly enjoy is working alongside these individuals; this forms the essence of our relationship.” She went on to mention that she plans to team up with the actors again in the future, whether it be for a potential new season or some other project.
For the concluding season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” the episodes are planned around the last novel in the series, titled “We’ll Always Have Summer.
