In an exciting development, Tatiana Maslany has shown a keen desire to reprise her role as She-Hulk in the upcoming Daredevil series titled “Born Again”. There’s a strong possibility that she might collaborate with Charlie Cox’s character, Matt Murdock. Notably, Maslany’s standalone She-Hulk series, known as “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”, debuted on August 18, 2022.
As I eagerly await the upcoming Disney+ series from Marvel, I can’t help but ponder: Will Jennifer Walters find herself reconnecting with Daredevil in this new chapter? The anticipation is palpable!
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe three years back, Murdock made an admired guest appearance alongside She-Hulk for the first time. There was a noticeable spark between them, which eventually bloomed into a brief romance. However, according to Dario Scardapane, the showrunner of Born Again, their past relationship won’t be touched upon in the revival.
In discussions about her latest movie, The Monkey, Maslany commended Cox on seamlessly adapting to the humorous atmosphere of She-Hulk. She highly appreciated Cox’s ability to preserve Daredevil’s character while transitioning to the show’s more lighthearted approach.
When Screenrant asked if she’d consider playing a more somber She-Hulk in the series “Born Again,” Maslany expressed eagerness by saying she possesses a lot of “serious depth” and would gladly reprise her role.
Maslany said, “Given the chance, would I reprise the role? Definitely! He was such an incredible character. Playing him was like working with an incredibly entertaining individual.
In simpler terms, she appreciated how Charlie Cox skillfully transformed a character from a different setting into one that fits perfectly with the new tone, yet kept the original character’s essence intact, which turned out to be quite humorous. She also enjoyed watching him interact with a more light-hearted or goofy environment.
Despite the fact that it’s unclear if She-Hulk will continue in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tatiana Maslany’s eagerness to reprise the role implies that her tale may still have chapters left to tell. However, Marvel Studios has yet to disclose any definite long-term plans for her character.
For now, you can stream She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+, and Daredevil: Born Again starts on March 4, 2025.
