In the final episode of Dr. Stone Season 4, titled ‘Lock On’, Xeno’s flashback storyline unfolded as he found nitric acid in a cave following his liberation from petrification. Subsequently, he resuscitated Stanley and his group, and they collectively decided to move northward to California, where they established a production facility for making gunpowder in large quantities.
Currently, Luna was reluctant to reveal Taiju’s identity to Stanley by name, instead whispering “Senku” silently. This subtle action allowed Xeno to infer who the genuine scientist actually was. As Stanley figured out Senku’s location, Senku swiftly put together a makeshift bulletproof vest using starch and water in no time.
Regardless of his careful measures, Stanley ended up shooting, striking Senku as he was trying to find safety. The narrative in Dr. Stone Season 4 Episode 9 will resume post Senku receiving a critical injury. With turmoil ensuing on Perseus, Taiju will seek help from Luna – a previous medical student – to address Senku’s wounds.
In the meantime, Chrome and his team, having kept an eye on Xeno’s fortress, will make up their minds to move forward with their plan to apprehend him. This impending encounter is of utmost importance for the Kingdom of Science as it hangs in the balance.
The fourth season’s ninth episode of Dr. Stone, named ‘Light of Science,’ is set to air on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10 pm (Japan Standard Time). Global viewers can catch it on the same day, but note that there might be slight time zone differences affecting broadcast timing.
