Due to the confirmation of upcoming Avengers movies, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of their beloved superheroes to the silver screen, as part of the collective cast. Notably, one highly anticipated character is Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.
The actor recently spilled the tea on whether he will be involved in the upcoming Avengers films and joked about the confidentiality and secrecy that Marvel Studios is known for maintaining.
In an interview with Collider, Paul Rudd clarified the speculations regarding his character, Ant-Man, being involved in Avengers: Endgame by saying, “Regarding the Russo brothers, I’ve given them my contact info.
“They know where I’m at, and that’s all I can say,” the Ghostbusters: Afterlife actor added.
Joking about Marvel Studios’ infamous secrecy, Rudd admitted that he doesn’t know how to play along, even asking if he could send messages by blinking. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, he was seen making wild facial gestures, adding that he was attempting “Morse code, some Johnny Got His Gun moves.”
The movie “Avengers: Doomsday” will start filming in the United Kingdom within a couple of weeks.
Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that the upcoming Avengers movies, titled Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, were revealed. Additionally, it was disclosed that Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, the actor who was there at the birth of these epic movies will now be portraying the villainous character of Dr. Doom. This iconic antagonist, originally named Victor Von Doom, is considered one of the most powerful villains in Marvel history.
Paul Rudd’s character, Ant-Man, debuted in his own movie, Ant-Man (2015), as the main protagonist. After that, he made an appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Subsequently, he reprised his role in Ant-Man and The Wasp, alongside Evangeline Lilly, and then in Avengers: Endgame.
Paul Rudd’s most recent appearance in the MCU was in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
