Actor Tom Hiddleston is slated to reprise his role as Loki in the forthcoming Marvel film titled “Avengers: Endgame.” During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he hinted at whether the finale of a potential second season of Loki could serve as the precursor to Doomsday.

The chat show host declared that the Trickster Deity controls the sequence of events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, Hiddleston clarified that the character himself remains in charge of the timeline.

Additionally, the English native revealed that although he was aware he’d feature in the Avengers movie, Tom himself was unaware that the creators were planning to reveal the cast members live on air.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host inquired, “Will your character play a significant role in Avengers: Endgame, given that you’re manipulating the timeline?

I can confidently say that I will be present.

He also mentioned, “There was a significant reveal of all the names on the back of the chairs, which I wasn’t aware of. It struck me as, ‘Ah, it seems I’m part of the film.’ To be fair, I did know I was in the movie. However, I am so accustomed to not knowing my involvement that it still caught me off guard.

It’s clear why Tom Hiddleston isn’t sharing details about the upcoming Marvel movie at this point in time. All we know is that Robert Downey Jr. is set to reprise his role as Dr. Doom, the antagonist.

In the finale of Loki season 2, viewers saw Hiddleston’s character make a selfless sacrifice because he realized he would be eternally alone. A significant speculation indicates that in the movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” Doctor Doom might attempt to seize Loki’s powers, potentially causing chaos across multiple realities.
