Will Landman Return for Season 2 on Paramount+? Here’s What We Know

In the latter half of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, Taylor Sheridan’s creation for Paramount+, titled Landman, is causing quite a stir. This series takes viewers into the intense realm of oil rigs in West Texas, focusing on Billy Bob Thornton’s character, Tommy Norris, who serves as a crisis manager and grapples with both personal and professional upheavals.

Experience a rollercoaster of action, from harrowing oil rig disasters and complex cartel conflicts, to a tumultuous relationship portrayed by Ali Larter’s character, Landman promises an exhilarating journey for viewers. The initial season comprises ten episodes, with the climactic finale, titled “The Crumbs of Hope,” scheduled for broadcast on January 12, 2025.

Though Paramount+ hasn’t confirmed a second season as of now, it appears quite probable given the positive reception from both critics and viewers, as well as Paramount’s history of backing Taylor Sheridan’s productions.

With Sheridan’s work, the network boasts an impressive history, enhancing the likelihood of another season. It’s safe to say that fans will probably see even more of this successful show.

During an interview in May 2024, Demi Moore, who plays a role on Landman, hinted at a potential second season. At the American Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival, she expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “I’ve finished the first season and I’m eager for us to begin the second one, which is set to start early next year.

It’s not yet an official confirmation, but indications point towards the start of production for a second season likely happening.

You can only find the show “Landman” on Paramount+. It’s not accessible through streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. To see every episode from Season 1, and hopefully more seasons in the future, you’ll need a subscription to Paramount+.
