In contrast to most deluxe editions that typically cost over $100 these days, Dreamhaven and Moonshot Games are bucking the trend with the Renegade Edition of Wildgate, priced at just $49.99. This special edition will be released simultaneously with the standard version and only includes cosmetic items as additional content. There’s no pre-order bonus or option to purchase ahead of time, so fans won’t feel pressured to spend money for early access or gameplay extras.
As a gamer, I’ll be getting my hands on the “Renegade Edition,” which means I’ve got a fresh set of alternative skins for each of the seven Prospectors and all four types of ships! That’s not all—the ship’s helm, probe, probe station, processor, reactor, and even the turret seat will also get their own unique looks. It’s going to be quite a transformation!
As a fellow gamer, I’d like to share that you have the option to buy this package separately if you initially opt for the Standard Edition and later decide to upgrade to a more premium version. The Standard Edition is priced at $29.99, while the upgrade will cost you $19.99.
It’s important to remember that you need to unlock Prospectors and ships within the game before you can utilize the skins you purchase; buying the skins doesn’t automatically allow you to employ them immediately.
On July 22, 2025, you’ll find Wildgate available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, the cooperative shooter Moonshot has an exciting post-launch plan in store.
