Wild ‘Agatha All Along’ Fan Theory Suggests Agatha May Have Killed Her Own Son

As a long-time fan of Marvel’s Witchcraft world and someone who has spent countless hours dissecting every detail of the comics, I find the theory that Agatha‘s “Teen” is her sacrificed son, Nicholas Scratch, to be a tantalizingly dark twist. If true, this revelation would add an entirely new dimension to Agatha’s character and her motivations throughout the series.

In the initial release, “Agatha All Along” unveiled its first two episodes, and the response from fans has been generally favorable since it seems tailored to a particular demographic. This time around, Agatha finds herself liberated to traverse the world, but with an unexpected twist: she’s powerless and embarks on a journey to reclaim her strength.

In order to achieve this, Agatha will have to journey along the Witches’ Path accompanied by an unconventional group of witches and a young individual who appears to lack power. It seems there might be more to this “Teen” than meets the eye in relation to Agatha’s life, as some speculate his role could hold greater importance than initially perceived.

At present, it’s highly probable that “The Teen” is Billy Kaplan, who is also recognized as Billy Maximoff or Wiccan in the comics. Yet, there exists a more ominous fan speculation concerning the remaining 5% probability: might the Teen be a son that Agatha Harkness allegedly sacrificed?

Username ‘ken’ recently posted an engaging theory about X, a topic we’ve previously delved into as well. However, our exploration provides additional insights and details.

If it’s true that Agatha gave up her own child to obtain the Darkhold, and all she keeps as a reminder is a lock of his hair within her pendant, well, what on earth could that mean for her character?! #AgathaAllAlong

Could it be possible that “The Teen” character is actually Agatha’s son, Nicholas Scratch? In the initial episode, Agatha is depicted entering a room with a name plaque that reads ‘Nicholas Scratch.’ This room has a distinctly occult and gothic atmosphere, which aligns with the appearance of “The Teen” in the first two episodes.

I often ponder what might have been if, long ago, I wasn’t just some random teenager, but Nicholas Scratch himself. If it were true that Agatha had offered me up on the Witches’ Road, sacrificing me to unlock the secrets of the Darkhold… It sends a shiver down my spine to think about it.

Additionally, Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, is entangled in a twist as well. The actress subtly implied a complex past shared by the two characters, hinting at romantic overtones. It’s plausible that Rio and Agatha had a romantic relationship in the past, but their bond crumbled when Agatha made the difficult decision to sacrifice their son for more power.
