During an inquiry by Vanity Fair’s lie detector test, the Grammy-winning 38-year-old singer swiftly ruled out the idea of joining a Real Housewives series, under the careful gaze of a polygraph expert.
Regarding reality TV shows like the Real Housewives, have you ever considered if you’d be open to participating? That was the question posed by the polygraph examiner.
“No,” Gaga answered.
Last year’s discussion was sparked by Dorinda Medley’s tribute to Lady Gaga at a Halloween party on The Real Housewives of New York City. That spooktacular episode, titled “Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun,” had me dressing up as Lady Gaga’s Judas character, while other cast members donned costumes inspired by pop culture icons like Madonna, Britney Spears, and Lucille Ball.
Despite agreeing to it, Lady Gaga firmly stated that she wouldn’t compromise, as she had reservations about joining a reality TV show. Even though she would never consider herself a part of the Real Housewives franchise, Lady Gaga did appear in a guest role on a reality TV program.
Gaga shared, “Being on reality TV would scare me.
In the year 2008, she made a special appearance on an episode of The Hills, where she performed at a modest club while wearing a flamboyant leather jumpsuit adorned with gold accessories and a vibrant, eye-catching headscarf.
During her discussion with The Daily Dish, Medley talked about her attention-grabbing outfit inspired by Lady Gaga. She explained how she put together the ensemble using a simple Spanx bodysuit and plastic bubbles attached to it, similar to what Gaga wore in her Saturday Night Live performance with Andy Samberg. By the end of the event, most of the bubbles had popped off, leaving Medley in a rather revealing state.
Although Lady Gaga is renowned for her musical and acting achievements, it seems that delving into reality TV is not in the cards for her. Her upcoming album will be released on March 7, 2025.
