With the final season of Stranger Things just weeks away, the cast is sharing their feelings about how it will be received. In an interview with Time Magazine, Finn Wolfhard drew a comparison to Game of Thrones, which faced strong criticism and backlash after its series finale. Because Stranger Things also has a very passionate fanbase, those involved with the show are concerned about a potentially negative reaction.
Stranger Things 5 stars fear Games of Thrones-like end
Finn Wolfhard admitted everyone involved with the show was anxious, especially after the negative reaction to the final season of *Game of Thrones*. They were all hoping to avoid a similar fate. Fortunately, once they started reading the scripts, they realized they were working on something truly exceptional. The final season of *Game of Thrones* faced widespread criticism for its disappointing ending, and while fans primarily blamed the writers and creators, the actors ultimately bore the brunt of the backlash from upset viewers who struggled to accept how the story concluded.
The popular series is nearing its end after four seasons, with a fifth and final season set to be released in three parts next month. The story will bring back all the main characters and return to the town of Hawkins, Indiana. As the terrifying Upside Down descends into chaos, Eleven, Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, and Max – who is still recovering from a coma – must once again confront the villain, Vecna. They have a lot to overcome as the series concludes.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news for fans of the show! Get ready, because the entire core cast is returning for the next season! That includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and the incredible young stars like Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink. We’ll also be seeing more of Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower – it’s going to be a fantastic season!
The first part of Stranger Things season 5 will be available on November 26th, with the remaining episodes releasing on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
