Why Does Millie Bobby Brown Not Watch Marvel Movies? Stranger Things Actress Reveals ‘I Love to be Outside…’

Fans of Millie Bobby Brown who are likewise fond of Marvel might find this hard to swallow, but it seems the actress openly admitted that she doesn’t typically watch Marvel films. Yet, she has a valid explanation for her choice to avoid them.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, alongside her co-star Chris Pratt from The Electric State, Millie Bobby Brown was questioned about the rumor that she hadn’t watched any Marvel films.

Grinning, Millie replied, “I haven’t missed…”, at which point her fellow actor, Pratt – well-known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – flashed her a teasing glance.

The actress from Enola Holmes clarified to the media outlet that she usually finds it difficult to watch movies. She also mentioned that she is a person who prefers to live among nature.

In her own words, the actress expressed that she enjoys spending time outdoors with her pets, be they dogs or other animals, which is the reason behind her frequent outdoor activities.

However, just like the adage suggests, opposites do seem to attract – such as in the case of Millie and her husband Jake Bongiovi, where their movie preferences show a striking contrast. In fact, Millie shared that Jake is quite the film enthusiast.

To make it clear, she emphasized, “I’m not saying I don’t adore movies… In fact, I do adore them, given that I am an actress myself.” She also mentioned that she often spends nine to ten hours a day outdoors, teasingly stating that she rarely steps foot inside her home.

In her recent projects, she will appear in the film titled “The Electric State,” alongside notable actors such as Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Colman Domingo, Jenny Slate, Devyn Dalton, Terry Notary, Alan Tudyk, Brian Cox, and many others.

Audiences can expect The Electric State to hit Netflix on March 14, 2025.
