It has been pointed out that a word appears to be missing in Kyle Richards’ social media bio. Notably, the well-known television personality has taken away the term “wife” from her Instagram biography.
According to PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she made this choice following sightings of her estranged spouse, Mauricio Umansky, kissing Nikita Kahn a few months prior. It was reported that the ex-husband was seen with Kahn in Mykonos during July 2024.
In the latest episode of the reality show, Richards clarified that it wouldn’t make sense for her to identify herself as “wife” on her Instagram bio if her partner was seen with other people. She explained, “I’m not going to be here, pretending to be married, while he’s out gallivanting with others.
In the program, Kyle Richards further clarified that removing the term “wife” from her profile was challenging for her at one point. Though she held similar sentiments about her last name, Richards admitted that seeing a different image of her estranged husband significantly altered her perspective on the matter.
On the reality TV program, Kyle Richards pointed out that Umansky, aged 54, updated his Instagram bio prior to any modifications she herself had made on her own profile.
I removed ‘husband and father’ from my bio and simply labeled myself as ‘CEO of the Agency,'” I shared with Kathy Hilton during our conversation on the show, as she inquired about the mysterious woman accompanying Umansky. In response, I offered some considerate remarks.
In simpler terms, Kyle Richards expressed that she doesn’t mind or care about certain things and her main focus now is to move forward. Her Instagram bio indicates that she is a mother, an actor, an author, a producer, an animal enthusiast, a cast member of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and associated with CAA (Creative Artists Agency).
During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Richards stated that omitting “wife” from her bio indicates she’s transitioning to a new phase. Richards and Umansky announced their separation in July 2023.
