Unfortunately, the well-known Atlanta hip hop artist Young Scooter, known for his collaborations with artists like Future and Gucci Mane, has tragically passed away at the age of 39. His life was cut short following a severe accident that occurred during a police pursuit.
According to TMZ’s reports, Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, better recognized as Young Scooter, was pronounced deceased last Friday at the Grady Marcus Trauma Center.

As per a report submitted by the Atlanta Police Department, police officers found themselves reacting to a disturbance call when they spotted two individuals fleeing from the backyard of a residence. Upon closer inspection, they identified one of these individuals as Bailey.
Following numerous attempts to clear multiple obstacles like fences, Bailey sustained an injury during a subsequent pursuit. Lieutenant Andrew Smith of the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that no gunfire occurred during this incident. Sadly, the injury proved fatal for Bailey.
Bailey’s hip-hop journey commenced following some legal troubles in 2008, when he was accused of drug trafficking. Later in 2012, Future’s record label, Freebandz, offered him a contract. In 2018, he joined forces with Future and Juice Wrld on their track, Jet Lag, which made it to the Billboard music charts.
Under a new moniker, Young Scooter, he found a fanbase within the Atlanta hip-hop scene. In the year 2013, his fame grew significantly through Street Lottery, a mixtape he produced jointly with his longtime friend, Future. He also collaborated with Gucci Mane on Free Bricks 2.
